	2010 Characteristically consistent, despite tough start to the year for the Williams. As car improves, so too do Brazilian's results, with fourth in Valencia arguably more than anyone could expect from the FW32. Becomes first man to start 300 Grands Prix and re-signs with team for 2011.
	2009 Outpaced by Brawn team mate Button from the outset. Three podiums from the first six races, but hopes of drivers' title look increasingly slim until late renaissance brings two wins. Ultimately finishes third overall and announces Williams move for 2010.
	2008 Another tough season with Honda. Scores 11 points, thanks largely to an excellent wet-weather podium at Silverstone.
	2007 Endures the worst season of his Formula One career, thanks in large part to the disappointing performance of Honda's RA107 car, failing to score a single point. Best qualifying a ninth in Monaco, best race a ninth at Silverstone.
	2006 Initially struggles to make transition from Ferrari to Honda machinery and is outperformed by team mate Jenson Button. Fourth places in Monaco and Hungary his best results en route to seventh in drivers' championship.
	2005 Second place at season opener in Melbourne strongest result of year, as Ferrari struggle for pace. Scores on seven more occasions, but can only finish eighth in standings, worst placing since joining Ferrari. Announces move to Honda for 2006.
	2004 Scores four pole positions, two wins and a further 12 podiums on his way to a convincing second place in the driver standings.
	2003 Fourth in the driver standings with two race wins. Again plays a vital role in Ferrari's, and Michael Schumacher's, championship success.
	2002 Second in the drivers' championship in Ferrari's most dominant season to date. Takes three pole positions and four victories.
	2001 Third in the drivers' championship with Ferrari after 10 podium finishes.
	2000 Goes to Ferrari as second driver, replacing Eddie Irvine. Manages an emotional - and popular - win at the German Grand Prix. Finishes the season fourth in the drivers' championship with 62 points.
	1999 Best season with Stewart. Third places in the San Marino, French and European Grands Prix. Seventh in the drivers' championship with 21 points.
	1998 Fifth places in Spain and Canada the best performances of the season. Finishes 13th in the drivers' championship.
